Bakerzin Crayfish Pasta

I recently bought the vouchers on Groupon.sg for Crayfish Pasta at Bakerzin and earlier tonight I headed down with my family to redeem the vouchers at their outlet at myVillage @ Serangoon Gardens.

To go with this voucher redemption, they offered add ons of either a cake + drink or dessert + drink. My table bought 2 cake sets and one dessert set. I can't remember the add on prices now as my father paid for the dinner, but it wasn't exactly cheap. I think the cake + drink set was an additional $8.90 and the dessert + drink set was $12.90 (or a similar figure).

My dad got quite annoyed by the loud music played inside the outlet, making conversion a little difficult. We actually decided to adjourn to Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf downstair after dinner instead of staying on coffee bean as my father likes to have coffee or tea after meals.

The pasta portion was pretty standard but the crayfish didn't taste very fresh and there were pretty small crayfish. For some halves of the crayfish, the amount of meat got out of it was probably the equivalent of a prawn! Oh well.

My brother ordered a cheese cake ice cream dessert with a macaroni while my dad had a strawberry shortcake and my step mum had some kind of chocolate cake. The chocolate cake was not too bad but a tad too sweet. Even with me sharing it with her, we only finished half of it. I think I'd be happier eating cheese cakes at Coffee Bean!

Dinner at Yum Cha Garden with the family

Has dinner at Yum Cha Garden which is situated within Serangoon Gardens Country Club. It was an a la carte buffet style dinner. We were celebrating my aunt's birthday, my brother's belated birthday as well as Mother's day :) Another incentive for us to go there is that the location is very near where we stay. Time spent with family is always awesome.

Hungry people waiting for food to be served.

Picture of Baby T that somehow reminded me of Bruce Lee. Hahaha.

Fried egg dish topped with shark's fin

Snow beans with scallops

Prawns served that day were pretty fresh

Fish topped with "chye por". Serving was really small.
We had to order multiples of this for the whole table to try it.

Prawn Salad

Marinated Jellyfish

Har Gow that were pretty big!

Siew Mai

Sweet and sour pork

Coffee spare ribs (my brother's favorite dish)

Salted Egg Prawns. Loved this.

Fried Silverfish. Not something that I'd usually order but my cousins recommended it.
It was good. Great for munching on, like french fries lol.

Black Pepper Beef

I didn't try these. My brother described them as "fried har gows"

Sweet and Sour Fish

Some sort of tofu fish served on steamed eggs.
I'm not a tofu fan so I skipped this!

Mango Pudding. Yay!

Yam with glutinous rice

My very unladylike little niece having her "meal"

Impish little one. Can't tell she's just passed her 1st birthday.
Maybe she is growing too fast.

My brother took Baby T to see the lobster tank. Awwww....

Happy 1st Birthday Baby T

My little niece Theophilia recently celebrated her 1st birthday. Known as Baby T in the family, she's the love of our lives. She's a super hyper baby, cheerful most of the time and always super cheeky. I think she's going to grow into a mischievous little tot!

Her lychee martini birthday cake! How many babies get these! Heh.

Baby T gets kisses from her mummy, my cousin!

The birthday baby with her 姨姨 and her future 姨丈

Cheerful pink polka dotted balloons! Mad sweet!

Not sure if she is kissing or biting her new tricycle. Hahaha.

Little cutie. We lub lub lub you.
