Somehow this morning, I'm craving macarons. I was flipping through the Bakerzin's catalog just earlier and this traditional French pastry was just calling out to me.I love pistachio flavored macarons, a close second favorite would be hazelnut. Someone once gave me a box from Freshly Baked by Le Bijoux which is located at Killiney Road. She is a friend of the owners and at the time of her wedding, instead of giving out the traditional cake boxes, she save out boxes of macarons. Then again, she was getting married to a French guy, so maybe that would have been pretty appropriate.
Anways, I heard Freshly Baked by Le Bijoux is not making macarons till after the Lunar New Year due to the tight schedules. Have quite a lot of stuff to do. Should I go pick up some macarons?
